Unbeaten Records (Stigmata, Lowered AD, No Victory) have announced the signing of West Virginia’s Left Behind to their roster. With this signing, also comes news of the forthcoming release of the band’s debut full-length Seeing Hell for April 8.
Produced by Andy Nelson (Harm’s Way, Weekend Nachos) the album is a spot-on representation of the band’s powerful live sound. They excel at creating a thick squall of sludgy and pummeling riffs, squealing metal guitar leads and bombastic hardcore breakdowns. Musically the band tap into a darker vein of hardcore/metalcore.
A good representation of the band is captured in their newly released video for “Rock Bottom.”

From humble beginnings in Charleston, West Virginia, Left Behind has covered a lot of ground over their three and a half year existence. The sextet has covered the country twice over from basement shows and veteran halls to large concert halls. Some bands that they have shared tours/stages with includes Heretic, Knocked Loose, The Last Ten Seconds Of Life and No Victory.
Currently Left Behind is trekking out west alongside Seeker (Victory Records) and Great American Ghost for the beginning of February. Past that will be an appearance at the So What?! Music festival in Texas and a tour with Orthodox, Unbeaten Records label-mates, Lowered AD and Incited (dates appear below).
