Helado Negro, also known to friends and family as Roberto Lange, defies classification. That’ll happen when you sometimes sing in multiple languages, and while his albums have received critical praise, including last year’s Private Energy (Asthmatic Kitty). Helado Negro continues to reinvent himself, sharing the new “Pais Nublado.” The track, which translates as ‘cloudy country,’ is beautifully wispy with gorgeous feminine background vocals. The song sounds like it takes elements from Brazil’s Antônio Carlos Jobim to create something airy and breathtaking.
