The Bay Area dark pop group Decant shares its new melancholic single, “Shadows.” It’s a beautiful follow-up to the band’s recently released acoustic single “Rest” – both of which will be included in the upcoming film credits for Rust, which debuts in mid-November. The group’s new EP is expected to arrive early 2025!

Decant’s music explores themes of loss, transformation, shifts in perception, and vulnerability. The band features frontperson and vocalist Lilie Bytheway-Hoy AKA Freddie Bytheway, keyboardist and guitarist Joey Verdian, fellow keyboardist and guitarist Van Jackson-Weaver, and drummer Thelonius Quimby.
