Boston’s Vundabar are sharing their highly anticipated sophomore LP Gawk ahead of the album’s release this Friday, July 24. To celebrate the release of the record, the band are headed out on a U.S. summer tour, taking the band throughout the East Coast, South, and North East.
After sharing the album’s singles, “Chop,” “Oulala,” and “Darla” via Stereogum, SPIN, and VICE respectively, Vundabar are excited to share Gawk in full, the end result of a hard year spent creating their latest record. The perfect accompaniment to a summer heat wave, Gawk is an energetic blast of the band’s unique surf pop influenced post-punk. Due out July 24 via the band’s own Gawk Records, Gawk is a dynamic album full of brilliant shifts, enormous hooks, tangled riffs and shimmering pop melodies.
