Book of Matches is a film and music collaboration between director Matthew Thomas Ross and Kyle Morton from the band Typhoon. The experiment was conceived in early 2015 and began as a sort of multimedia epistolary between two friends: Ross shooting minute-long shorts and Morton setting the music to them. The two have plans to continue the series and will be working on the second installment in between engagements with their larger-format projects, Neighborhood Films and Typhoon, respectively. Head over to NPR to check out the video and read more from Ross and Morton.
