San Francisco trio, The Trophy Fire has given MTV Buzzworthy the online audio premiere of “Hey Dreamer.” The track will appear on the band’s forthcoming full-length album, Directions For Daylight, to be released May 21 via Greyday Records (I Was Totally Destroying It, The Heligoats). At its core, the group creates music that is a musical combination of the ‘90s alt/indie rock scene of their formative years as well as the ‘80s synth-pop of their childhood.

The group is currently working on a music video for the album cut “Spinning,” which will make its online debut in the coming weeks. Dates for The Trophy Fire’s upcoming summer tour for North America can be seen below (with more to be announced shortly).
