The Minders have been working on Into The River, their first full studio album in seven years, for the past two years in Portland, Oregon with revered producer/engineer Larry Crane at Jackpot! Studios, and they’re now putting on the finishing touches.
Along with announcing a string of dates with Neutral Milk Hotel (dates below), the Elephant Six-associated legends are set to launch a crowdfunding campaign soon to facilitate their new album’s release on the band’s own imprint, Space Cassette Records. There will be a launch party for that effort in Portland, Oregon on May 21. More details about the release, which will be issued on multiple formats, is forthcoming.
