The Great Explainer share "God Botherer," ready LP

Hailing from Trenton, New Jersey, The Great Explainer cut their teeth in the nearby, tight-knit Asbury Park and Philadelphia scenes with their aggressively anthemic brand of post-hardcore.  After catching the attention of Chunksaah Records, who released their debut EP, 2010’s The Way Things Swell, the band toured relentlessly, only to suffer numerous lineup changes that brought their momentum to a halt. Founding members Nick Rosica and Sean Bystrzycki spent the next two years solidifying their lineup, fine-tuning their sound, and creating their mammoth debut full length.
Recorded in November of 2013 with Paul Ritchie at Retromedia Studio in Red Bank, NJ, this self-titled album finds the band focused and ready to make their mark.  Bystrzycki’s massive, gritty vocals demand your attention, propelling the darkly melodic album atop a powerful rhythm section and complex heavy guitars.
Due out October 28 from Panic State Records, their full length debut represents a band poised to leave a lasting mark.
