The Fresh & Onlys are set to release House Of Spirits, their fifth album and second for Mexican Summer, following 2012’s Long Slow Dance. House Of Spirits possesses the exemplary pop faculties displayed on the band’s last two albums while also presenting experimental atmospherics and drum machine-anchored ballads never heard from the group before. After sharing House Of Spirits‘ fuzzed-out “Bells of Paonia,” the band is excited to release the first official single, “Animal of One,” premiered earlier this week on NPR Music‘s “All Songs Considered.”
