The Banner have teamed with Revolver Magazine to present their newest single and video, “Send Me Down,” off the upcoming third album, Greying, out December 9 on Good Fight Music.
Just in time for Halloween, the industrial-powered lament of “Send Me Down” shows off the New Jersey band’s full range, from somber to venomous. Hear “Send Me Down” via a video clip created by The Banner frontman JSS and Old Wounds drummer Brandon Gallagher, now streaming exclusively at Revolver, here.
The Banner arrived with a bang in the early ’00s, forcing dark theatrics into metallic hardcore. Ahead of their time, The Banner helped pave the way for the massive resurgence of goth influence within the scene, witnessed today all over the map, from Warped Tour kings like Motionless in White, to critics’ darlings like Iceage.
The Banner’s third full-length, and first in over six years, Greying was engineered, mixed and mastered by Will Putney (The Acacia Strain, Body Count) and Randy Leboeuf. Out December 9th on Good Fight Music (the same team behind Ferret Music, the label that released the band’s first two albums), Greying shows The Banner to be feral, hungry, and pushing the genre forward yet again.
