Refused is streaming their performance at Open’er Festival in Poland, today at 2:30 PM PST / 5:30 PM EST at officialrefused.com.
This week the avant-punk band released their album Freedom, the band’s first new material in 17 years. Refused is f-cking alive and that is especially apparent with the band’s recent high profile in the press. Freedom ranks on Rolling Stone’s Best Albums of 2015 (So Far) list. A Noisey writer joined the band on their recent west coast tour for an in-depth look at the band’s reunion in the story Pop Songs for the Revolution.
Additionally, Refused is gracing the cover of the August issue of Decibel Magazine, on newsstands now and available here.
The Swedish punks use their profile for good, and have raised several thousands of dollars for Save The Children for Nepal earthquake relief in a fundraising campaign in partnership with Generous who sold their track “Elektra” for charity. Freedom is available in-stores now and at all digital retailers. Refused will tour this summer with Faith No More in support of Freedom.
