Last year, LA trio Medicine released To The Happy Few, their first LP in nearly 20 years. Today, we’re happy to announce they are back yet again with Home Everywhere, out October 28 on Captured Tracks.
During this past year, Brad Laner, Elizabeth Thompson and Jim Goodall eschewed the 90s-nostalgia touring circuit trod and instead dug deep to bring you Home Everywhere: A collection of new songs created with a gaze that is omni-directional. An answer to no other band, movement or genre. An ambitious piece that could be the work of none other than three lifer music weirdos in full inspiration mode. “Turning,” the first single from the new album, is bouncy, moody, noisy, catchy, introspective and extroverted fun. Narrow genre labels be damned, this is classic experimental pop music you can dance to.
