Lola Colt launch their U.S. debut Vacant Hearts EP on Black Tigress Records on June 3. Produced in part by Jim Sclavunos (member of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Grinderman, previously in The Cramps and Sonic Youth), the band also recently recorded their debut album with him which they plan to release at end of this year.
Taking their name from a ’60s spaghetti western, Lola Colt are a powerful and imposing six-piece with 3 girls and 3 guys, fronted by captivating Danish vocalist Gun. The band have sent their audiences into a frenzy with their powerful and captivating live performances, including sold out London shows and intoxicating sets at UK and European festivals. Their two singles, “Jackson” and debut “I Get High if You Get High” on Too Pure, have won them widespread fans at UK press and radio.
Lola Colt will be playing a string of UK festivals this year with plans to bring their performances to U.S. audiences next year.
