CMJ is now streaming “Show Me,” the opening track off Highlands’ sophomore album, Dark Matter Traveler.
CMJ editor Eric Davidson depicts the Long Beach, California band’s psych-pop sound as “waves of Ride-like storm clouds… molasses thick.”
Dark Matter Traveler was recorded by Rollie Ulug (Graf Orlock, Dangers) and mastered by J.P. Bendzinski of Crystal Antlers. The LP is out July 15th on the band’s own Say Again Records.
