Grand Rapids band Heaters has announced a new 7″, and their first release for Beyond Beyond is Beyond Records, due out April 28.
Featuring new single and title track “Mean Green” b/w the snarling “Levitate Thigh.”it gives a nice taste of the trio’s psych-meets-surf-rock vibe. You can watch a new video for “Levitate Thigh” — which is one part laid-back psych and one part driving rock ‘n’ roll — via YouTube. Heaters head out on a North American tour next month, playing SXSW, Austin Psych Fest’s Levitation, and a handful of other dates with bands like Wand and Ultimate Painting (see below for a full list of upcoming shows.) They plan to follow the Mean Green 7″ with a brand new LP, out later this year on Beyond Beyond is Beyond. You can pre-order the Mean Green 7″ here.
