Guitar World has debuted the title track off Extinction A.D.’s debut full-length, Faithkiller. The thrashing tune charges forward with Kill ’em All-level swagger and chops honed by years of touring – before Extinction A.D., frontman Rick Jimenez and his bandmates played together in This Is Hell.
In Extinction A.D., the boys have graduated from hardcore to full-blown metal status. As Guitar World’s Damian Fanelli writes, “Faithkiller plays like a 21st-century powerhouse upgrade of Eighties thrash… The best aspects of early Metallica and Testament.” Stream the title track, here. Out August 21 on Good Fight Music, Faithkiller was recorded and mixed by Brett Romnes (I Am the Avalanche, Anthony Raneri), and mastered by Brad Boatright (Nails, Noisem). Also check out latest video, “Instruments of Death,” via Revolver, here. Since its formation in 2013, Extinction A.D. has played with the likes of Municipal Waste, Darkest Hour, and Kvelertak.
