Roanoke, Virginia’s Eternal Summers announced The Drop Beneath, a brand new full-length studio album due out on March 4 via their longtime label Kanine Records. The record was funded by an extremely successful PledgeMusic campaign, which quickly reached its goal shortly after launching. In addition to facilitating the making of the album, Eternal Summers invited fans to be a part of the creative process and used fan ideas in both naming the record and the album art. The Drop Beneath was produced by Doug Gilliard of Guided by Voices and Nada Surf and recorded, engineered and mixed by Louie Lino (also of Nada Surf) at Resonate Studios in Austin, TX.
