Coeds will release their Sensitive Boys 7-inch next Tuesday on Old Flame Records, and today, they share sunny, synthy b-side “Videos.”
A warm-weather jam that tells the story of being dumped and pretending to be stronger than you really are, you can stream “Videos” where it premiered with Vanyaland or via Soundcloud.
Coeds is made up of Merideth Muñoz, previously of DC-based band Title Tracks, and longtime friend Ryan Kailath. After a three year music hiatus, Muñoz began writing new material in 2013 and laid down a demo of “Sensitive Boys” with Kailath just for fun. The two ended up continuing their collaboration long distance, with Muñoz based in Austin and Kailath in NYC, and the result is their upcoming debut 7″, which offers listeners a first taste of the duo’s playful, energetic vibe.
You can stream “Sensitive Boys” here, and the 7-inch is currently available for pre-order.
