Chris Staples‘ first album for Barsuk Records, American Soft is out now and, yesterday, NPR debuted the beautifully strange video “Hold Onto Something” directed by Spencer Gentz. Gentz asked the three stars of the “Hold Onto Something” video to memorize and recite the song’s lyrics at triple speed to create a trance-like delivery of the song’s beautiful hook.
