Cape Snow is a cross-country collaboration between LA-based singer-songwriter Bree Scanlon and members of the New England-based band Tiger Saw.
Bree had steadily been recording melodies, lyrics ideas, and song fragments into her iPhone, which she eventually sent to Tiger Saw frontman-singer Dylan Metrano, her husband Sean’s high-school friend.  Dylan wrote lyrics to Bree’s melodies, matching her original melodies syllable for syllable.  He soon recruited his bandmates Guy Capeceltro III and Marc McElroy to help flesh out the songs and thus form Cape Snow.
Their self-titled debut album is set for release on July 31 on Burst and Bloom Records.  The album is sultry, moody, and frankly quite beautiful.  It has a rustic, Americana flavored vibe mixed with Mazzy Star or Sharon Van Etten.
