California Wives debuted their new video for “Purple” at last week’s 2012 MTV VMAs.

The band collaborated with Sharpie® to create a music video that showcased the work of hundreds of artists and fans of the Sharpie® medium and brand. The single ‘Purple’ was previously premiered with Paste, and is taken from the band’s full length debut, Art History, out now on Vagrant.
California Wives will support the album on a nationwide tour this fall with Stars and Diamond Rings.  Check out California Wives in concert here:
