Portland-based project, Anne, has shared his second track “Terms” from his upcoming album, Pulling Chain, out March 4 on Run For Cover Records. Pulling Chain leads us through a dark and gritty dance oozing with gothic sexuality and combining vibing, moody synths with thumping electronic back beats. The album marks a change in form as frontman David Lindell continues Anne into electronic territory that maintains his original post-punk rhythmic tendencies. Impose debuted “Terms” describing it “challenging the etiquette and norms of dance floor discourse for electronic dotted dialogues of a deeper order.”
Thus far, Anne has released a slew of mixtapes and singles, most notably 2012’s split 2×7″ with San Francisco shoegazers Whirr and two EPs: Jerusalem and Power Exchange (both released on Run For Cover Records) plus 2009’s collection LP Dream Punx (A389 Recordings).
