The PDX Pop Now! Festival celebrates its 10 year anniversary this weekend with 45 local bands, two outdoor stages, Rigketball (band basketball tournament), and street fair at the free and all ages annual Portland festival. Everyone from the board of directors to the bands playing the festival donate their time to the non-profit organization, supporting PDX Pop Now’s mission to stimulate and expand participation in Portland music. This year’s festival will feature sets by: Ancient Heat, Billions and Billions, Blue Skies for Black Hearts, Cassow, Dangerous Boys Club, Dusu Mali, Fanno Creek, Gaytheist, Genders, Ghost Ease, Grammies, Hausu, Hot Victory, Like a Villain, Litanic Mask, Luck One, Magic Fades, Magic Mouth, Mattress, Memories, Minden, Mojave Bird, Natasha Kmeto, Orquestra Pacifico Tropical, Palo Verde, Portland Chello Project, PWRHAUS, Ramona Falls, Richmond Fontaine, Satin Chaps, Shy Girls, Slimkid3 w/ Doo Doo Funk, Sons of Huns, Sun Angle, The We Shared Milk, Trio Subtonic, Unkle Funkle, Vice Device, Warm Hands, Witch Mountain, WL, Wooden Indian Burial Ground, Woolen Men, Y La Bamba, and Youthbitch.
