Will Jay is known for writing classic pop songs with modern production and today, he shares heartfelt piano-led song “Please Don’t Get Any Older.” The new song follows “Glory Days” – a track that saw the Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter reminisce about his carefree youthful days and a since-lost friendships.
“Please Don’t Get Any Older” is available now via Repost and finds Will dealing with the silent heartbreak of watching his parents age. “My dad has had some health issues over the last few years,” notes Will. “Witnessing the most capable and strong person I know be slowed down in any way is terrifying and hard to believe. I hope this song brings people comfort knowing that none of us can avoid that part of life and we have to fully appreciate the time we have with those we love.”
Will Jay has amassed over 35 million streams and over 25 million video views for his original, independently released recordings. Will’s songs have also been recorded by a diverse set of artists including UPSAHL, Royal and the Serpent, Pouty Face, Grace VanderWaal, NCT 127 and for shows including Disney’s Sneakerella and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, to name but a few. Describing his sound as Elton John meets Jon Bellion, Will’s music takes listeners on a journey, seeing the beauty in everything, and he recently teamed up with Repost by SoundCloud to release his music. “It’s been just me and my manager fighting to get my music heard, so to have the Repost team advocating for me is so affirming and means the world.”
