Video Premiere: Mnemotechnic, "Leak The Civillians"

Today, Mnemotechnic, a French noise rock band founded in 2009, shares their video for “Leak The Civilians,” a song from their recently released Blinkers album, which hit the streets via ATRDR and Kerviniou Recordz on October 11.

Giving free reign to its obsessions with topics of Anthropocene and denial, Mnemotechnic digs deep towards tectures, noises and sparp, visceral mechanical sounds. Haunting and hypnotizing, Blinkers was recorded, produced and mixed by Thomas Poli and mastered at Black Box Studio.

According to the band, “[‘Leak The Civillians’] is about a man changing his appearance in order to infiltrate the population.  The video raises the question about why humanity has always been trying to move away from nature.”
