The Ar-Kaics return with their second long-player In This Time (Wick/Daptone Records), out today, which is the follow-up to the band’s 2014 self-titled release. If you don’t know who the band is, let me reintroduce you to the four members here. Musically, the Richmond, Virginia garage band time warps from another era. One where the music was rich, flavored with honesty, the instrumental use was simple & unique, all the while filling songs with harmonies and melodies. It’s what The Ar-Kaics are all about.
The band premieres the new video for “No Vacancy,” which is a pretty trippy jaunt through the group’s sound as they create strange imagery throughout. Of the video the band says:
