Atmosphere Returns With New Video "Virgo," Announces New Album

For the past couple of years both producer/DJ Ant and emcee Slug – who both make up Atmosphere – have been silent. Their last album, Fishing Blues (Rhymesayers), was released back in 2016 and the duo toured incessantly in support of it. Atmosphere breaks its silence today as it shares the first video “Virgo,” off of the album Mi Vida Loca, dropping October 5, 2018. The video was shot on Super 8mm film, and the Jason Goldwatch-directed visuals add a vintage feel to the track. In the video, Slug rides a train overlooking the forgotten landscapes of rural America while he opines about his zest for life in the midst of uncertainty and what he sees as America’s worrisome political direction, among other things.
In support of Mi Vida Loca, Atmosphere is scheduled to hit the road this fall on a headlining tour. The North American run also features support from fellow Rhymesayers act deM atlaS, as well as The Lioness and DJ Keezy. See below for full list of tour dates.
