Singer/songwriter Ani Cordero recently released her opus El Machete  (Panapén Records); a full-length album of deep emotional range, with songs about feminism, colonialism, anger, love, loss, and healing. El Machete was even named by Bandcamp as one of the ‘Best Albums of the Summer.’ Today she shares the video for the single “Yo No Vine A Jugar.”

Cordero heads to Puerto Rico to perform her first-ever show on the island next week and returns to the US for performances at San Francisco Jazz Festival in November and new Brooklyn enclave The Sultan Room in December.
