Top Ten of Twenty Thirteen: Steve Vanica and Patrick Alberts of Call Of The Void

Call Of The Void

Call Of The Void

During 2013, Denver derelicts Call Of The Void have toured relentlessly in support of their Dragged Down A Dead End Path full-length released earlier this year via Relapse Records. Applauded for its “legitimate, misanthropic emotion,” by Popmatters and commended by Pitchfork for further proving that Denver is “a hotbed of serious vitriol and passion,” Dragged Down A Dead End Path meticulously weaves grind, crust and hurt feelings into 25+ minute onslaught of riotous discontent.
Ghettoblaster recently caught up with CotV’s Steve Vanica and Patrick Alberts to discuss the 2013 releases that they’ve been impressed with this year.  This is what they said.
