Thalia Zedek Band has announced their new album The Boat Outside Your Window (Thrill Jockey), out May 23rd. Along with the album’s announcement, the ensemble has shared the stirring, fiery first single “Tsunami”. The song is quintessential Zedek, seamlessly intertwining the personal and the political while juxtaposing a gritty, driving rhythm section against her unmistakable voice, her gravelly guitar buoyed by ethereal pedal steel from new TZB member Karen Sarkisian.
