Swirlies Return With A New Song From Their Tour-Only EP

It had to happen. Starting this week, 90s shoegaze veterans Swirlies will join Nothing to play a series of dates in the South and East Coast, including their first Texas dates in 15 years.  In support of Nothing, they’ll be selling the new 12″ EP Magic Strop: Tonight. The record features 5 songs from their Part-Time Punks Session for KXLU and two bonus tracks. The vinyl will only be available on these tour dates, but you can download the EP now on bandcamp where you can also hear the track “Trumpets Forever.”
The lineup will include founding member Damon Tutunjian (guitar/vocals), Adam Pierce (Mice Parade) on drums, Deb Warfield (Gold Muse) on guitar/keyboards/vocals, and Elliott Malvas (You’re Jovian) on guitar and keyboards, and Wesley Bunch (bass/keyboards). Founding member Andy Bernick (bass/keyboards) will also join on select dates.
