Following the February 2018 release of their latest album Recreational Hate, Lemuria is excited to release their Companion LP today which is meant to illuminate Recreational Hate. The indie rock trio will embark on a tour this summer in support of the releases and will bring Katie Ellen and Dusk along with them to open.
The indie rock trio has been together for nearly fifteen years, guided by their fierce DIY ethics which have garnered them a devoted fanbase across the country. Originally formed in Buffalo, NY by singer/guitarist Sheena Ozzella and singer/drummer Alex Kerns, Lemuria have released a slew of albums, EPs and 7″s over the years to critical acclaim from NPR, Pitchfork, Stereogum, She Shreds, BrooklynVegan and many other places. Rounded out by bassist Max Gregor, as Lemuria have grown, life has spread the band across the country, with members in DC, Las Vegas and Austin – but they’ve never lost their connection to each other or to the music they make together.
