The unstoppable force that is SUMAC will be heading back out on the road later this summer with Jon Mueller and Jay Jayle. This tour will follow their performance at Levitation Vancouver on June 16th, as well as their headlining European tour with Mamiffer, which includes a set at Roskilde Festival in Denmark.
SUMAC is the trio of Aaron Turner (Isis, Old Man Gloom, Mamiffer), Brian Cook (Russian Circles, These Arms Are Snakes, Botch), and Nick Yacyshyn (Baptists). Their new album What One Becomes finds SUMAC elevating their songs’ complexities with a greater entanglement of velocity, density, form, and function – a testament to the tour-honed collective intuition and technical skills of each player.
