winterforever premieres “Selfish,” the second single from their upcoming EP coming out on Heading East Records next month.
Earlier in the year, the band trekked from their hometown, Boise, Idaho, to Philadelphia to record with producer Fred Mascherino (Taking Back Sunday, Say Anything). Like “Tailpipes” (their first single), “Selfish” shows the tight chemistry between the band members and their arrangements. But, it’s the crafting of painfully relatable stories that really pull you in.
“I wrote ‘Selfish’ about family,” explains singer/guitarist, Corey Hugo, “Sometimes you’re just too different to see eye to eye. ‘Selfish’ is me coming to terms with that, letting go and moving on.”
“Selfish” hits digital streaming platforms on September 25.
The band is currently on tour until October 6 in the Southeast U.S.
