By day Los Angeles quintet The Manx work as designers and animators for networks like Adult Swim, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and Cartoon Network. By night they are a grimy and enigmatic punk act akin to the Aquabats and the Residents.

The band is gearing up for the release of their new record, which features cameos from Justin Roiland of Rick & Morty fame, Justin Pearson of Dead Cross, the Locust, Head Wound City and Retox, and Derek Mears who stars in DC’s new Swamp Thing. Parker Day, who’s been profiled in Juxtapose and Vice, designed their cover art.
