Sometimes you just need some good ol’ fashioned rock-n-roll, although The Longshots fall somewhere in between garage rock and hardcore punk. The Texas-based four-piece —comprised of Joey Gorman, Alex Zobel, Kris Luther and Brady Hamilton— have been carving out their signature sound since its April 2012 inception.
The Mucho Mango 7” blows your mind in a matter of five minutes. Lead single “Mucho Mango” is paired with B-side, “Enantiodromia.” Signed to Mock Records, this is The Longshots’ fourth release. Never idle for long, the group is working on a new video and finishing up material for their follow-up to their Mock Records self-titled debut, which was released last year.
