Michigan instrumental post-rock artist Northerner are set to release Fear Not, Therefore via Flesh and Bone Records/Road Soda Records. The members of Northerner are no newcomers to their local music scene in the Metro-Detroit area. Over the past few years they have explored and crafted sounds spanning across different genres with various bands; eventually honing in on an emotional post rock soundscape. It is a style that grips you, taking you through the cosmos while either leaving you stranded or crashing you back into earth.
Northerner will appeal to fans of Caspian, Explosions in the Sky, and This Will Destroy You. In advance of the LP’s release on November 25, the band has shared “Muir” with Ghettoblaster. Enjoy it below:
