Mayfly Records announced the addition of Richmond, Virginia alternative rock/shoegaze hybrid Keep to their ever growing family. The brainchild of Wes Smithers and Nick Yetka, Keep self-released the highly acclaimed EP Hypnosis for Sleep.
A year later, the follow-up Psychorama finds the duo pushing their sound in multiple directions, including the darker and gloomy feel of the first single and title track “Psychorama”. With the help of friend Parker Black of Virginia hardcore act Holy Land, Keep manages to push this track into a darker territory reserved for artists like Planning for Burial, all while maintaining the lush vocal patterns listeners came to love on their previous effort.
Keep is certain to appeal to fans of Jesu, Nothing, and Swervedriver. “Psychorama” will be available everywhere this fall via Mayfly Records.
