Song Premiere: Brandston, "Christmas in Ohio"

According to former Brandston guitarist Matt Traxler, “‘Christmas in Ohio,’ was written and recorded in a typical, dingy, two-double bed hotel room somewhere between Denver and Ft. Collins, Colorado. We were in the middle of a tour with Paramore and The Rocket Summer, and our van was broken down. I think it was a Saturday and we couldn’t get the part needed for the van until Monday. It was a blur of gas station snacks, delivery pizza, and X-files marathons, at some point we pulled together this Christmas song.

“[The song] was originally written for and released on the compilation: A Santa Cause – It’s A Punk Rock Christmas 2. We dusted it off and had Adam Boose (Cauliflower Audio, Brandtson) remaster and polish it up a bit.”

Now the song is available for your listening and purchasing pleasure (below).
