Atlanta-based punk trio Billy Bats & The Made Men is set to release the full-length, For The Surly Types, via Rad Girlfriend Records on September 5. Pre-order it here.

Punk rock has always carried a spirit of youthful abandon, and authenticity, and Billy Batts & The Made men, a band comprised of members who are barely out of their teens, embrace that legacy. With a sound that straddles the line between the ferocity of ’80s hardcore and the pace and volatile aggression of ’90s punk rock, they deliver tried-and-true punk in its most pure form. Produced and recorded by Joe Queer, of legendary punk icons the Queers, For The Surly Types is sure to capture the ears and hearts of those still willing to raise a middle finger to the establishment.

Today, Ghettoblaster has the pleasure of premiering the album’s third single, “In The Weeds,” a steady ripper with a Screeching Weasel-esque guitar lead.
