Ohio’s Smug Brothers return with its new single out today, “Sidewalk Champagne.” This is just the second single off the band’s forthcoming LP Stuck On Beta (Anyway Records), out on 6/6/25, and is paired with the non-album track “Whistling Pedigree.” The new album follows last year’s EP release,  Another Bar Behind The Night.  

“Musically, this is a perfect snapshot of what Smug Brothers are all about: kinda dark and moody, but lots of hooks,” says guitarist/vocalist Kyle Melton. “This song has a guitar solo I’m still kinda stunned I was able to execute. Lyrically, there are a lot of juxtapositions that are at the root of human existence and trying to figure out how to shine some light in a world that can be pretty dark and unforgiving, especially now.”
