The Veiled Sea (Three Lobed Recordings) is set for release next month on June 25, 2021. In anticipation of the release, Six Organs of Admittance shares its latest single, “All That They Left You.”
“I was basically trying to do like a private press psych thing where it’s pretty over the top guitar soloing and have that meet a more german electronic style bed of music jam. Do you know Billy T.K.’s Powerhouse record? So like that sort of soloing. But also it’s sort of a rejection of the more Grateful Dead style guitar soloing that is really popular in the indie world now, and sort for swapping that out for maybe more glam style.“
This song is from the point of view of the forces that formed this world saying, ‘That’s all you get. You don’t get any more.’ There’s a few guitar moves in there that were inspired by Alex Weir and some that were inspired by Randy Rhoads. I like bass.” Ben Chasny
