Cool It, Sam Cohen’s debut solo album, is out now on 30th Century Records. The prolific songwriter and producer, currently on tour with White Denim.
A founding member of Apollo Sunshine and Yellowbirds, Cool It is the culmination of a busy era for Cohen. In addition to producing Kevin Morby’s critically-acclaimed Singing Saw, Cohen performs in the house band for the upcoming Day Of The Dead compilation, a tribute to the far-ranging influence of the Grateful Dead spearheaded by Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National.
Cohen is currently on tour with Austin rockers White Denim. Tonight and tomorrow (March 31-April 1), he’ll be performing two shows in Los Angeles at Teragram Ballroom, followed by a range of national dates extending into May. On April 25-26, Cohen will play Bowery Ballroom in New York, and he’ll join White Denim for their performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on April 11. See the full range of dates below.
