Philadelphia post-grunge noise mongers Rid of Me shared their cover of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”

“Smells Like Teen Spirit is from the band’s Whatever cassette, which also features a cover of Deftones’ “My Own Summer.” The release official dropped today, via Knife Hits Records. Order the cassette here. 

The band will also perform in Richmond, Virginia, at Hell’s Door on May 6, Atlanta, Georgia, at 529 on May 7, and Norfolk, Virginia, at Taphouse Grill on May 8.

Rid of Me released of their first LP, Traveling, via Knife Hits Records (digital/cassette/CD) and The Ghost Is Clear Records (vinyl) on December 3, 2021.Traveling followed Last (June 2021), Summer (April 2020) and Broke Shit Demos (October 2020). It was recorded at The Gradewell House with Steve Poponi and The Bummer Basement with Mike McGinnis. Poponi mixed it and it was mastered by Dave Downham.
