How easy is it to fall in love with Los Angeles trio Pinky Pinky? Apparently, very. And this is based off the group’s latest offering in “My Friend Sean,” which is off the debut long-player Turkey Dinner (Innovative Leisure). The single is sweet with subtle instrumentation utilizing the classic approach of drums, bass, and guitar. It comes as no surprise this album is produced by Hanni El Khatib along with Johnny Bell.

It’s bolstered by the perspectives of a trio of LA youths writing about their everyday observations, anxieties, and passions.  As a result, it’s unpretentious, raw and unpredictably zany. Again, it’s easy to fall for Pinky Pinky, but if you don’t, it’s ok. Just know that you’re probably wrong with everything you do in life.
