Meernaa’s debut full-length Heart Hunger is out this Friday, and today the Bay Area band shared an explosive new song, “Ready To Break.” Frontwoman Carly Bond says, “‘Ready to Break’ came from a place of frustration, anger, and naïveté. It’s an expression and reflection on gender inequality: both the hyper-awareness and the repression of that awareness in order to maintain sanity. How those feelings manifest as a womxn in love, the workplace, and life in general.”
