Mazie Shares Single “people don’t change”

mazie just released her latest single, “people don’t change” – a song that she started writing several years ago but, when met with just the right hook from her producer Elie Rizk, came together in just one day. “Relationships and friendships are all about figuring out if you can co-exist within each other’s flaws,” notes mazie. “By letting someone into your life, you are acknowledging that they are who they are for better or for worse — and you should be so precious about choosing who is in your life for that very reason.“

The Los Angeles-based, Baltimore-raised musician has been making a name for herself with music that mixes modern malaise with vintage psychedelia: nostalgia laced with an impending sense of doom fueled by a world in ever-deepening crisis. The new single is her second to follow the summer release of her debut EP, the rainbow cassette. Out now via Good Boy / Virgin, the EP drew the attention from the likes of several media outlets. “people don’t change” follows last month’s “spinnin”; her track with rising alt-pop star chloe moriondo, “not okay”; and the EP’s singles, whose vibrant videos can be seen HERE

Following her performance at this year’s The Governors Ball festival, mazie has returned to the road for her first national tour as support for COIN. The dates are underway and conclude in her hometown of Baltimore, MD, on December 19. Along the way, she will make stops in Chicago, Boston, New York City and more. See all dates listed below.
