Looming will release their sophomore album, Seed, on September 29 via No Sleep Records. Since the release of their debut LP, Nailbiter, in 2015, Looming has entered a new chapter after originating members Brandon Carnes moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Jessica Knight moved to Austin, Texas. The distance has not slowed them down as the band is set to release their second LP on No Sleep Records.
Recorded by Carnes in Braddock, Pennsylvania, and mixed by Jay Robbins (Lemuria, Mock Orange, Jets to Brazil), the band’s sophomore record lyrically explores regret, longing and growth over a vast, layered and lush musical background. The band has grown, expanded musically, and remained true to the signatures that define Looming.Fans can catch Knight on her solo tour of the U.S. over the next few weeks. Dates are listed below. Additionally, Looming has announced their official hometown, album release show will take place on October 2 at The Black Sheep in Springfield, Illinois.
