The Philadelphia based Palmas has a certain delicate charm about it. The sounds created, the music delivered harks back to another era where women casually smoked long-stemmed cigarettes, with beehive hairdos, hanging off the arms of their boyfriends. Yes it’s a 1950s / early 60s sound the band (Eric Camarota – Bass, Matthew Young – Guitar, Adam Cantiello – Guitar, Kurt Cain – Vocals/Organs, and Pat Degan – Drums) conjures. It’s sultry and the group is set to release its first proper full-length in the form of To The Valley, out Nov. 13^th on Lost Colony Music.
