The San Francisco, California trio of Adam Abildgaard, Nick Duffy, and Ted Davis first met in high school and shared a thorough fascination of music which they’ve channeled through their band, Hot Flash Heat Wave. The band dropped its first full-length release, the Neapolitan, and people in the Bay Area began to take notice. The band’s electro-pop, mixed with distorted & jangly guitars and sweet melodies would make anyone stand to attention.

The band shares its latest single “Grudge” (Park The Van), which expounds more on pop-induced guitars accentuated by keyboards with infectious melodies. The single is off the band’s forthcoming album, due sometimes in 2021. Until then, sit back and enjoy.
